About Me
- Rene Ohana
- Ms. Ohana is an English teacher at Harbor High. She enjoys reading, writing, gardening, and baking. Her students are an energetic and creative group. She can hardly wait to hear all of their great ideas about literature.
When we discussed the poem in class I got the sense that Cody was a complete fraud...but according to the article he actually did play the part of a western cowboy in real life. This makes me think that cummings wasn't commenting as much on how he was a fake, but more how he was a sellout in going from a real cowboy to an entertainer who glorified his old life.
