Ms. Ohana, do you think you could possibly post a picture of our independent reading project sheet here? I have two houses and between the two of them I seem to have misplaced it. I was going to get working on it today but then I realized I can't because I don't remember exactly what we have to do, only the general idea. Thank you, Trevor
Trevor- Unfortunately, I don't have a copy with me at home, but if anyone else does, they can scan it in and email it to me then I'll post it. Basically thought the gist of the project is a visual or the character's journey accompanied by 8 short paragraphs (each with a CD and CM, and each explaining how a specific step along the journey impacted the character's personality/ growth/ etc). It's easiest if the journey is physical, but if not, be creative and I'm sure you can figure out a way to represent a symbolic journey.
Ms. Ohana is an English teacher at Harbor High. She enjoys reading, writing, gardening, and baking. Her students are an energetic and creative group. She can hardly wait to hear all of their great ideas about literature.
